I alway prefer to use hardwood dining chairs because they look great and they have that classic look. Hardwood also lasts longer compared to softwood chairs.

Wall mirrors that are silvered on the back are great. Cheap wall mirrors are always aluminized ones and they may crack anytime compared to silvered mirrors.

Jennifer, I would check on ebay for these chinese chippendale chairs. They can sell for really low prices. The trick is to check every day. They could also be listed as faux bamboo chairs. I would give that a try. Meranda

does anyone know know where I can purchase Bob Collins wallpaper??? I live in Manhattan. Also, who makes the bird wallpaper the Kelly Wearstler used in the Trina Turk Palm Springs store…I know she also used a similar paper in sepia tones with bamboo in one of the bedrooms of her residential projects and I was just wondering if anyone knew where it was available to purchase. I really like it; it is a nice balance of Chinoiserie, toile and Regency style….any help would be much appreciated. Also, general question….What are people’s opinions on the Schumacher wallpaper “Oiseaux et Fleurs” in Cinnibar?? I have 6 of these chairs from the early 1970′s. Mine are black with grey seats. I am in Denver, CO. They are in excellent condition and not faux. They look identical to last photo above entitled Black dining table with faux bamboo chairs and to the ones entitled Jonathan Adler Elle Decor Yelow Chinese Fhippendal Chairs above.
