If the design is right, why not?   This typical hollywood regency table before was ordinary, but with a coat of white paint and some detail painting, it has been transformed into something very classy and modern.

Since my husband and I moved to a new home town, we are also getting used to shopping in new areas and trying out new products.  I have been painting furniture for several years, and I picked up a new oil paint a few weeks ago that I just cannot get enough of.  Our regular hardware store is a good 40 minutes from our home, so I decided to try some of the brands at our local hardware store down the street.  It was a tremendous blessing as the new oil paint has become the easiest to apply and nicest finish paint product I have tried in years.  The paint is from Zinsser, which is  branded by Rustoleum.
