Regency Style traces the history of British styles, as it combined influences of the technological innovations of the day.Parissien also does an excellent job at examining the Regency styled house of England and America. He doesn't miss the opportunity to investigate details of typical homes breaking down the architectural details, colour schemes and furniture for each room. Steven Parissien also pays highlight to key designers as John Soane and Thomas Hope. It is a book worth getting!
